Last Updated: December 30, 2006 This page is a collection of all of the photos I have taken during band rehearsals thus far into the season. These pictures range from early in the morning to late at night which just goes to prove that band really is the most important thing in life! (besides college :) Anyway, this page also serves as a turning point from September basics to October tounaments. (This page was created on Sept. 30)
This page institutes something new that I have been working on for awhile: Moving GIFs! Cool huh? I did these with a function on my camera that allows me to take up to 11 consecutive frames in several seconds. Then I used a computer program to arrange them in a loop. Please tell me what you think of them and maybe you might see more of them in the future!
Now, I'd like to give a little background info on some of the pictures. (It's long so read at your own risk!) First, if you scroll down a bit you will see Mr. Sybilski looking like he is actually saying something important. He was actually telling us that we've got to somehow make our show rock! I believe he was also describing the need to increase our volume and crescendos on the field. (1)
Further below you will see Matt wearing a girl's top. He forgot to wear a white shirt so he borrowed this from Renee. I believe it was Morp dress-up night too. Hahahaha (1)
In the next row you will see my two favorite Pit seniors in the whole world: Joey and Julia! They graduated last year and I was overjoyed to see them again. This picture commemorates the last time I saw them together before leaving for their colleges. (1) (2)
Below, you will see our loyal coach, Champ. I'm not exactly sure what he does, but he helps out the band a lot! Thank him when you see him! (It's too bad that you can't see his face here...) (1)
Following are the pictures that the student leadership took to be put in the Poway Tournament program. They took a serious picture and then a funny one (which would not be included in the program). Here is your chance to compare this side view of the group to the one that will be in the Poway Tournament program (In which everyone will actully be looking). (1) (2) (3) (4)
Lastly, at the very bottom, you will see some beautiful shots with a rich, majestical sunset background. I felt like I was on a movie set! I couldn't resist capturing the moment so I stepped out of the block to get some of these. Enjoy! (1) (2) (3) (4)
