     
Poway Days Parade
Last Updated: September 17, 2006 The annual Poway heritage parade took place on Saturday, September 16th. It was a nice sunny day which may be why more people than last year showed up! We marched in as the 20th group and I thought it was very sucessful. The only real complaint that I had were the horse riders who were just up ahead of us...
As a parade, I thought that it didn't have much to offer. There were some fancy old cars, important people who waved, and boy scouts on bicycles, but overall it must have been very boring to watch. I thought it was great that the Poway and Westview bands came to liven things up. Thanks to Westview as well!
As usual, you won't find any pictures of the parade itself due to the undeniable fact that I was in the thing! Sorry! Check PHSMB.com if/when they update their photos section...
